If you are having trouble with space then do the first lap with intro but no extro, then each other lap without intro and extro and the last one without intro but extro.
Move each one onto your PC each time you do one and then stitch them together with something like windows live movie maker.

Why not just transfer it to your desktop and use windows live movie maker player to flip and then rotate the video and then add it back to the device?
On android video toolbox will do this
And on mac iMovie will do it.

This is certainly possible. Start LapTimer, goto Timer View / landscape, wait until the tab bar is sliding out, press the Video button. Now, to start recording, press the small red button. To stop recording, press the green one. Once this is done, goto Lap List, select your 10 minute "lap"...
