Going the option 2 route

The con's can be converted into the #1 setup and GPS data is much more important than obd data. Besides cables through the legs, could cause an accident.

The way I see it:

Setup 1:

DualXGPS150
GL1 OBD2

Pros: Charges the iPhone, No interference with the obd data
Cons: Wires (can be tucked away)

Setup 2:
BT1 OBD
Emprum Ultimate GPS

Pros: No wires, easy setup. Better GPS data due to direct connection. Extremely Neat installation ...
