Re: Sneak Preview v14
Harry, thanks for sharing these screen shots. It appears to be a good feature. Can you set additional intermediate GPS points to allow segment times? Would this be done after setting the finish, before, or either?

Re: Those of you looking for a cheap Wifi OBD reader..
My friend also purchased this unbranded device. The only functional difference we can find is that the PLX Kiwi has an on/off switch. I have my PLX discretely installed in the car and use the on/off switch so it's not turned on all the time, especially in the summer heat. Otherwise you have to pull ...

OBDII via USB?
Harry,
Is a USB based ELM device supported by LT or on the iPhone at all? The reason I ask would be for a more reliable connection and I happen to have one.
Thanks

i-Blue 737
I have had good results at an autocross event with the i-Blue 737 external GPS. The update rate this past Sunday varied between 5 - 10 Hz and the reported accuracy was 2 ft (61 cm). This was my third event with good consistency. For this event the start line was back about 15 ft (5 m) from the start...

View and compare of other recorded parameters
Hi Harry, I really like the graph views (see example below) and the ability to compare one run to another. This is also good when comparing to other driver's runs. At this time it appears that the parameters available for viewing are preset and do not include everything that is recorded (i.e. thrott...

OBDII Options
Harry, Please consider allowing the user to select which/quantity of the OBDII parameters are requested by LapTimer. A concept could be a check box option for each parameter currently on the list so the user can have zero, one, two, or more selected. The spirit of this idea is to allow user control ...

Video Overlay Graphic Option(s)
Harry, Please add an option(s) for the video overlay graphics to account for light/bright back grounds (i.e. opaque, transparent, background color selection, or preset options). The current (13.4 Pro) implementation has the overlay graphics light in color and transparent. In bright sun with a light ...

Re: Sneak Preview v14
Thanks for the preview Harry. I would find this very useful and would be able to compare a set of autocross runs real time on site. With the current version I was only able to compare two runs at a time in whole and to compare segments I was doing screen shots and comparing them on my desktop comput...

Re: OBD2 bluetooth and external GPS bluetooth
Hope this is useful for someone... the files are from an autocross run on a road course at Firebird (Phoenix, AZ) on April 14. Although I have not examined the details of the recorded data I have had success recording BT GPS, WiFi OBDII, acceleromoter, and 720p video in an autocross scenario (record...

Re: OBD Update Rates with KiwiWifi
Harry, Thanks for the info. I would be willing to take any increase as autocross can be very dynamic, but I will first research what the max OBDII rate is for my car. Here's a lateral acceleration chart for a 45 sec course from Sunday. This is an average autocross course from a rate of change of dir...
