TracKVision v2.2.2 includes support for HLT v16 session data format.
Many thanks to Harry for his help with an early look at the new format so we could get this done!
Cheers!

Re: HLT exports with DashWare, TrackVision and RaceRender
Harry's v16 format works nicely with TrackVision, and will be a good fit for user who want to make video of a single track session or race. TrackVision lets you trim the start and the end of the video, so its easy to remove the paddock and grid section and the cool down/return to paddock if you want...

Re: Possible to overlay LapTimer data on GoPro video
Deleted. This is Harry's forum, so no place to talk about what TrackVision does. My apologies. [my conscience called, Harry didn't, in case you're wondering]

Re: Possible to overlay LapTimer data on GoPro video
Not sure how we'd judge the winner of that bet. Its not a format issue, and the video from iMovie, Sony Vegas, or any other editor will read normally of course. Besides, it misses the point. Video editor apps create their own video frame clock when they render an output video file [ie save the video...

Re: Possible to overlay LapTimer data on GoPro video
RaceRender has been around for many years, in fact. Looks like they've scrubbed all the old forum, docs, etc and rebooted their public face just recently. The key point on workflow is that syncing data and video should be done using the original video, straight from the camera, first. Post-processin...

Re: Possible to overlay LapTimer data on GoPro video
Thanks to Harry for being super helpful on the current v15 and what is coming with v16. Based this info, we have released multi-lap support for HLTv15 in TrackVision. Several HLT users are using it now, so expect to see some examples posted here as soon as they get some data from the track. The mult...

Re: Possible to overlay LapTimer data on GoPro video
You are right. I missed that.bulls23 wrote:That's right, but as far as I remember, users were asking for a possibility to do that on the iPhone, so they can put that on an external video (GoPro, Contour). Most of the time they were told to go for TrackVision, Dashware or RaceRender

Re: Possible to overlay LapTimer data on GoPro video
TrackVision has supported Harry's Lap Timer data for quite a while now. Turns out that HLT V15 had some changes that we hadn't tracked, specifically the multi-lap export format, but that's all fixed now and will be in our next update. Send me an email to support[at]trackvision.net and I'll send you ...
