Re: Post Your Track Toy Here
I'm way to vain to not post a reply to this :-) I drive a 2009 Mustang GT, with a VERY long list of mods, to turn it into a road course beast. I am quite happy to say that I've passed at least one slow Corvette driver every time I've gone to the track, and I pass a lot more than I get passed :-P I j...

Re: HLT exports with DashWare, TrackVision and RaceRender
I ran into the same problem with the exported CSV files as well -- there was an odd line with a "TIME" value that included hours, when all the rest just had minutes:seconds. When loaded into RaceRender2, this throws it off completely, and it thinks all my laps are 0:00.07 seconds line, exc...

Re: No success using HLT at Lime Rock Park
Success!!! After updating the firmware on the XGPS150, it worked perfectly on Monday at Lime Rock Park. OK, not perfectly -- I got complete data for 2 sessions, and HLT crashed 4 laps into the other one (I had to slip the 4th session after hearing strange noises coming from my chassis... heading to ...

Re: No success using HLT at Lime Rock Park
Um..... Ignore this drivel as the ranting of an insufficiently caffienated coffee junkie... Sometimes I think too hard. I didn't *SUBMIT* the form on their link, I emailed them asking if it mattered if I knew my serial number (I don't -- the sticker got ripped off the back of the device as a side ef...

Re: No success using HLT at Lime Rock Park
I found that link, and submitted a request for the details, but more than 48 hours later they have not yet responded to me. I can't say Dual is impressing me with their service response time, but I'll reserve final judgment until I've completed the upgrade process, which others seem to have had a lo...

Re: No success using HLT at Lime Rock Park
Thanks. I'll make a list of things to try, and see if I can't get this to work. I did some more reading on the forum here, and discovered that I need a firmware upgrade for my XGPS150, because it only connects to HLT at 1.0 Hz, not closer to 5.0. I'm waiting to hear back from Dual on how to do this ...

Re: No success using HLT at Lime Rock Park
Harry, I'm driving Lime Rock Park again on Monday, and would love to get more accurate GPS data out of my XGPS device. Is there anything I can try differently this time? In particular, if there are changes in v16 that might help resolve this, I'd be more than happy to be a beta tester (if you have a...

Re: HLT exports with DashWare, TrackVision and RaceRender
As promised, here's the video's I made using data acquired with Harry's Lap Timer, and exported for use by Race Render. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNJGAk0wp0k http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tlCIJLuXO0 I've got one more that shows all the cars I chased down and passed uploading right now, too......

HLT exports with DashWare, TrackVision and RaceRender
One of my goals is to create track videos that I can watch to study how I drive, learn where I'm making mistakes, and then go even faster. To accomplish this, I am trying to figure out the most efficient way to process the two video streams I take at the track (two GoPro cameras) and overlay them wi...

Re: Possible to overlay LapTimer data on GoPro video
Done -- check your email for a generic single-lap export message with the subject:
LapTimer Export NJMP Phillip Moore
Other than changing the subject, the exported email is unaltered. If there's anything else I can do to help, just let me know.
