We're now driving a Porsche Cayman (2015 Cayman S), I was expecting this to be able to log oil temperatures, but the lap timer is just showing zero for it.
The car does know about oil temperature, it shows it on one of the displays.
Is there anyway to get this logged?

Re: LapTimer v18.3 New Timer View announcement
I'm a little late to this as I've only just updated to iOS8 (from 6), so only just got the new Lap Timer. Some of the changes have much improved the timer view, some of them have lost features I used to use. The good change is that the lap time is more visible (I also upgraded to an iPhone 6, so tha...

Using the Lap Timer for "Pro Solo".
Over here the SCCA has an alternate form of autocross called "Pro Solo". This puts cars side by side on mirror image courses with a drag race start. Normally i'll mark a start and finish line for an autocross course. Usually you cross the start line at some speed, so a normal trigger works...

Speed going negative when coming to a stop
I'm using the lap timer V18 with a GoPoint BT1 ODB dongle, when the car comes to a stop, the reported wheel speed looks like its going negative, but this is being reported as a large positive speed, like 6553.5km/h (I assume this is -0.1km/h). I hadn't noticed this prior to today because the interes...

Speed Multiplier per vehicle.
I've been looking for the correction for the OBD speed, I finally found "Speed Multiplier" in the expert settings. The problem with that is its not per vehicle. I'm running different sized tires on our two cars, so I need a 0.98 correction for one and a 0.92 correction for the other. It wo...

Re: Same Car - Multiple Drivers
I'm glad I found this thread, I just got an alert popping up saying I was critically low on space for GPS data, and that I should purge the GPS data, which I didn't want to do. I had about 333 laps in the data base, and I was planning on keeping them there. We had 2 more sessions at Laguna Seca to g...
