Re: iPhone 5S

The 5S offers a 34 Hz on the accelerometer where as the predecessor iPhones maxed out at about 29 Hz. Only thing that comes to mind is more accurate data logging?

Re: XGPS150 5 Hz update.

On a side note, received the XGPS150 and decided to toy with it. Out of the box, it can handle 5 hz now :)

Re: Batch file transfer off iPhone

I downloaded an app called "Easy Transfer" for both my iPhone and iPad. Reason why is, when I go to tracking events at Buttonwillow Raceway, I pretty much always rent a garage, so we have electricity, but still lack wifi for the iPad. Easy Transfer allows one to transfer both pictures and ...

Re: Distribute Flyers / Post Cards at your local track

Harry, If you have any more postcards left, send me a few dozen. I'll pass them out at the local track events. If you need my mailing address again, please PM. I had gotten in touch with you last night about the "Giveback initiative" stickers, which you replied you would send one to me ;) ...

Re: XGPS150 5 Hz update.

" No firmware updates required for that bad boy to get it to work right?" Not so far. It looks to me like the XGPS160 is definitely worth the extra cost. Hmm...looks like I'll be gifting the XGPS150 to a friend while I order a XGPS160 for myself. Only prerequisite to friend, "You got...

Re: Mount recommendation

I'm a fan of the RAM mount that Harry recommended. The performance of the suction feels comparable to me as the GoPro Hero suctions.

Tempted to try the mount on an outside window with an old iPhone to try the Multicam feature, once I upgrade.

Re: XGPS150 5 Hz update.

Wait, so am I not mistaken from reading markchristenson's initial post, that someone buying a new XGPS150 unit, could very well be getting a unit with a more up-to-date firmware on it than the 1.2.6 beta firmware? So again...buying a NEW XGPS150 at this point in the game, one could very well be hitt...

Re: GoPoint BT1 Firmware Update

I have not figured out how to update - just start the BT1 app on the iphone while the BT1 is connected in the car and the update starts is what I understood - is that how it works? TIA Rainer I'm thinking by now, you have already updated it, but yes. It's pretty straight forward. Piece of advice to...

Re: Dual XGPS150 5Hz support

So just to confirm...since it's been over a year since the 1.2.6 beta Firmware for the XGPS150.

A person buying a new one now, is the firmware already on there? Or do they still need to update?
